Evermore Resort Residences Orlando, Florida

Dix.Hite collaborated with a multidisciplinary design team to master plan more than 80 Evermore resort residences conceived as a “horizontal hotel,” immersing guests in the character of Orlando’s historic, tree-lined neighborhoods. Homes front traditional streets with alleys accommodating parking and utilities, while select clusters incorporate shared mews to support larger groups such as wedding parties, family reunions, or corporate retreats. The street tree planting strategy was designed to create enclosure and ultimately shade 60% of sidewalks, enhancing pedestrian comfort throughout the resort. Dix.Hite also helped shape usable park spaces that provide a relaxed, home-away-from home retreat from the lagoon and nearby attractions, and developed residential amenity prototypes across eight unit types, later refined to four floor plans. Rear-yard amenities include private pools with integrated spillway feature walls, along with firepits, artificial turf flex lawns, pavers, and intimate seating areas.
