The Parker at Maitland Station Maitland, Florida

The Parker at Maitland Station is luxurious, no doubt, but it has an edge to it too. We saved and re-used massive steel beams from the Parker Lumber warehouse that once existed on the site to create unique structures throughout the property and give a nod to its history. Adjacent to the Maitland SunRail station (also designed by Dix.Hite), the Parker has helped contribute to Maitland’s overall downtown resurgence, bringing in more residents and activating a walkable transit-oriented environment. Dix.Hite provided site planning, visioning, architectural color design, and landscape and hardscape design for the project which features an urban streetscape with unique lighting details, a pool and amenity deck with outdoor dining and a pavilion made from salvaged beams, a dog park, and an internal courtyard and motor court with a Dix.Hite hand-painted mural.
