Crest Lake is centrally located in Clearwater, with both residential and retail adjacencies, and acts as a retention pond that collects stormwater from the surrounding neighborhoods. The team worked to enhance and revitalize Crest Lake Park by working with an ecologist to develop strategies to improve the water quality with a series of rain gardens and lake edge treatments. The plan enhances canopy areas with supplemental trees and plantings, and includes shade pavilions, boardwalks and dock overlooks, a splash pad, a nature-themed playground, and an update to the existing memorial. The park opened in April 2021.
