Starkey Ranch Wins Design Award For Its Unique Park System

Located on more than 2,400 acres, Starkey Ranch is a master planned community with a primary focus of connecting its residents with natural Florida. Located alongside the Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Preserve, the community is centered around an interconnected series of park and trail systems that branch out to connect its residents with the Preserve. Included in the project design program associated with phase one's 477 homes is the central park space, neighborhood pocket parks, streetscapes, and a series of bikeway and pedestrian trails that traverse multiple pedestrian bridges.
