Johan Bueno

Johan is an experienced project manager who joined our Longwood office after earning his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Florida. In the eight years since, he has played an active role in the community as a member of ASLA and an ACE Mentor, passionately nurturing the next generation of landscape professionals. His professional accolades notably include a 2017 ASLA Florida Award of Excellence for his team's innovative work on “What If?”, a community engagement tool designed to help residents envision ways to create healthier, more accessible, and more prosperous public realms. Johan’s many personal interests include camping, movies (ask him about Charlie Chaplin’s monologue from “The Great Dictator” — he’s probably watched it today), board games, photography, and learning about emerging technologies. These interests influence the way he sees the world, therefore informing his unique approach to landscape architecture. Originally hailing from New Jersey, Johan has settled in Florida with his wife and two dogs, Scooby and Ringo.
